How is SolarX™ Installed?
SolarX™ is a nano-ceramic automotive window film installed using professional wet-application methods. Panels are deep-cleaned, patterns are plotter-cut for your vehicle, then squeegeed to a crystal-clear finish. The film cures on glass for lasting clarity, heat rejection, and >99% UV protection.
• Windows are cleaned and decontaminated (razor + scrub).
• A slip solution (filtered water + tint soap) is sprayed on glass and adhesive.
• Film is positioned, then squeegeed from center out to remove water and air.
• Heat gun is used where needed to shrink/shape on curved glass.
• Edges are micro-trimmed and sealed for a factory look.
• Patterns: Pre-cut on a plotter for your exact make/model; free-hand only where required.
• Cure Time: Initial haze/water pockets are normal; allow 48–72 hours (longer in cold/humid weather).
• Care: Do not roll windows down for 48 hours. Clean with ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber.
• Do not use blades/abrasives on the film surface.
